Ben Monder's solo playing is out of this world. His ability to play multiple lines at once, while maintaining line independence and his incredible right hand have all made him the envy of many a guitarist. Check out this video excerpt of his tune "Orbits", to hear the full track check out his album "Flux".

Ok great but how would you tell if he hit
a wrong note? is there a bad note.
Ben has an "eclectic" sound so it's more like playing really "out" classical music than jazz. This is one of his original tunes that was fully composed, no improv.
that was total crap! noodling over ostinato open strings is beginner's stuff...
To the dissenting poster, you didn't even hear the really good stuff in this piece. It's some of the most forward-thinking guitar music written in recent times.
Yeah this guy is gifted great technique but lose with feel as well.
great player
its a solo gtr arrangement of the Wayne Shorter tune Orbits. really amazing stuff. hearing Monder basically made me quit jazz gtr years ago....
