Hang Drum Solo [Video]

The hang is a relatively new instrument created in Switzerland in 2000. It's a melodic percussion instrument that looks a bit like a UFO. It produces sounds similar to a steel drum, but sounds less harsh in my opinion. In the middle of the hang there's a bass note that is surrounded by 7 or 8 harmonic notes.

SO rad! It's like a steel tabla. . . more interesting, in a way, than steel drum since you play it with your fingers, and the harmonics, wow!
