There's an awesome Pat Metheny video on YouTube. He plays an arrangement of 'Are You Going With Me' with the Metropolo Orchestra. Pat is playing guitar synth on the video.
Speaking of Steely Dan (see previous post), Donald Fagen's new album inspired me to do an article about the mu major chord for the site:
I just discovered there's a new Donald Fagen album out called 'Morph the Cat'. It may be old news (it was released in March) and not really jazz guitar related, I just wanted to let you know (I'm a gigantic Steely Dan fan).
Solo jazz guitar player Jody Fisher has a new album out called 'Wistful Thinking'. There are some real pearls on the album ('Turning Point' is one of my favorites). Listen to the album here:
